The Ladder
Progress through levels by earning XP through engagement. Each level unlocks new features and opportunities. Levels 1-6 can be earned organically; Level 7 (Elite) is reserved for admin assignment.

Poins
Poins are the in-app currency on Patreek. Earn them through activity or purchase bundles to use across the platform.
How to Earn Poins
Earn Poins by reaching level milestones (L3: 50, L4: 100, L5: 150, L6: 200, L7: 500 Poins), winning Sweepstakes, and earning from Forecasts. You can also purchase Poin bundles directly. Gold and Ruby members get bonus Poins on bundle purchases — the extra Poins are shown on the bundle before you check out.
How to Spend Poins
Use Poins to buy cosmetic items in the Shop (badges, name colors, profile borders) and to commit XP on Forecasts.
Forecasts
Test your knowledge by forecasting outcomes on real-world events. Commit Poins and earn XP rewards.
How It Works
Browse open forecasts on current events, commit your Poins on an outcome, and wait for the result. If your forecast is correct, you earn a share of the total XP proportional to your stake.
Oracle Badge
The top 5 most accurate forecasters earn the Oracle badge — a purple eye icon displayed next to your name. Maintain your win rate to keep it.
Tipping
Send a thank-you to creators whose posts you like. Tipping uses XP, not Poins — it has no cash value and can't be purchased. It's a pure appreciation gesture that helps the recipient advance toward their next level.
How It Works
On any @username page, tap the tip icon and pick an amount — 10, 25, 50, or 100 XP. Your XP balance drops by that amount; the recipient's grows, pushing them toward their next rank.
Limits
Level 2+ required to tip. Max 100 XP per tip, 500 XP total per day across all recipients, and 100 XP per day to any single person. Limits reset daily.
Why XP, not Poins
XP is earned only through engagement — never purchased — and has no cash value or redemption path outside the app. That keeps tipping a purely social gesture, not a money transfer.
Sweepstakes
Free sweepstakes rounds where you can win Poins just by entering. The prize grows as more people join.
How It Works
Each day a new sweepstakes round opens. Tap Enroll to enter for free. Once enough participants join, one lucky player is selected at random. The Poins prize grows as more people enter — the more participants, the bigger the prize.
The Lounge
A real-time community chat room for Patreek members.
Access
Level 3 and above can chat in The Lounge. Level 1-2 members can read messages but cannot post. The Lounge is available at /lounge on the website.
The Shop
Spend your Poins on cosmetic items that personalize how you appear across Patreek. Shop purchases are currently available in the mobile app.
Badges
Small icons displayed next to your name on every post, comment, and profile view. Choose a badge that represents your personality — from Bull and Bear to Crystal Ball and Megaphone.
Name Colors
Change the color of your display name across the entire platform. Stand out in comment sections and feeds with colors like Gold, Electric Blue, Violet, or Crimson.
Profile Borders
Add a colored ring around your profile avatar wherever it appears — posts, comments, profiles. Options range from Gold Ring to animated Rainbow.
Membership Tiers
Unlock instant level access, XP multipliers, and revenue sharing with a membership subscription.
Ad-Free Experience
Ruby members enjoy a completely ad-free experience across the app and web. No banner ads, no interstitials, no native ads in your feed.
Revenue Sharing
How It Works
Gold and Ruby members earn a share of ad revenue generated by member views of their content.
Member Views Only
Only views from logged-in members generate revenue. Guest views are tracked for analytics but do not count toward your revenue share.
Revenue Share Rates
Gold members earn 5% and Ruby members earn 10% of the ad revenue generated by member views of their posts. Revenue is calculated monthly and distributed automatically.
Activity Requirement
You must be actively earning XP during the revenue period to qualify. Members who are inactive during a period will not receive a payout for that period.
Minimum Payout
Minimum payout threshold is $20.00. Earnings below this amount will accumulate until the threshold is reached.
